Heidi and Spencer came to Lunas House in June not only happily married, but also expecting babies! On August 13th, after 1.5-year-old Heidi had toughed it out through the 111-day gestation period for chinchillas, twins Frankie and Gary were welcomed to the world. Instantly these two crazy kids started shaking things up and making us smileand have not let up since! Spencer, just over a year old, has been neutered, so no more babies for this coupleas soon as they are old enough, Frankie and Gary will be neutered as well. We are estimating mid-November for the boys surgeries. Besides being fantastic parents, Heidi and Spencer are sweet chins who will do just about anything for rose hips or dandelion drops. Spencer has passed on his love of running in the wheel to his sons, who get faster every day! Frankie is the more outgoing chin baby, curious and rambunctious, while Gary is quietly inquisitive and more laid back. We would, of course, LOVE to see this happy family of standard grey chinchillas adopted together, but are not requiring that all four chins go to the same home.
