Offered here is a vintage 1940, serial number 34,XXX, Los Angeles (made in the USA) Olds tenor saxophone in it's Original Lacquer. These horns are built like little tanks & can stand up very well to the rigors of student use. It would make a really good pro backup horn as well. It has been regulated to perfection with several new pads installed. The horn is set up to go, is leak free, & is gig ready. So whether you have a aspiring musician looking for a tenor or are a seasoned player, this is a very nice horn you will be very pleased with. The ergos on this horn are very good. It does not feel awkward to play like some of the other older horns. The keywork is great. The original case was falling apart & pitched some time ago but I can offer the buyer a brand new Selmer vanguard locking wood case for only an additional $250.00 if you would like. This is a great alternative to renting an instrument & will hold it's value very well.
