Group Classes

Put your best foot forward with professional instruction by SalsaNow instructors, Niss Albaig and Mike Fok. With a focus on fundamental technique and leadable moves, this dynamic duo will have you dancing with confidence. Assisted by the ladies of SalsaNow, Alex and Georganne, Niss and Mike make learning fun.

Walk In and Dance Out! Classes feature Salsa and Salsa Rueda, a fun form of the dance that is danced as a group in a circle. Additionally, as students progress, Niss and Mike teach other dances encountered in a salsa club - Merengue, Bachata and Cha-Cha.

Tuesdays - Drop-In Group Salsa Lessons w/ Niss Albaig

7:00pm to 8:00pm
Salsa Beginner Basic I
Learn important foundational salsa elements and steps for a solid start to dancing. Each week the basics will be reinforced and a new basic element will be added for progression. Intended for beginners of all levels. Practice makes perfect. Don't be afraid to take this class over and over again until you are comfortable and you can then move into the 8 pm Beginner II lesson.

Salsa Technique/Beginner Club Dances (beyond salsa)
Specially scheduled classes will focus on salsa technique or introduce other poplular club dances such as, Bachata, Merengue or Cha Cha Cha: This is the class for everyone!

8:00pm to 9:00pm
Salsa Beginner II-III
Further your basic elements of dance with emphasis on technique and introduction to more advanced concepts, lead & follow, combinations and steps that will prepare you for the Intermediate level. Learn the core patterns and techniques that will take you dancing on the dance floor with ease all night long. Intended for beginners already familiar and comfortable with the basics.

Intermediate/Advanced Salsa Combinations
Add fun and sizzle to your dancing with new combinations and variations. Flashy steps and leadable patterns are taught every week with emphasis on technique, footwork and styling. This class will focus on combinations, how to lead and follow them, executing them on different dancers throughout the class. If we do not have enough men to women ratio, we do a class that focuses on spinning, balance, footwork and arm techniques. Intended for dancers ready for a new level of complexity.

Mondays - Salsa Rueda Lessons w/ Mike Fok

Join Mike Fok and the instructors of SalsaNow for a night of Salsa Rueda from 7 - 9 pm. Dancers are welcome to come and dance for the entire two hours. Instruction will be geared for beginners from 7 - 8 pm and then to experienced dancers from 8 - 9 pm. We'll have you dancing in circles!

Class is from 7:00 - 9:00pm. All dancers are encouraged to come at 7:00pm.
7:00 - 8:00pm - Instruction geared to Beginner Rueda Dancers
8:00 - 9:00pm - Instruction geared to Experienced Rueda Dancers
