Pit Bull Terrier - Medium - Young - Male - Dog - Thumper

This is a courtesy post for Thumper. He is not a member of our group. Do you have room in your heart and home for this sweet, cute Pit/Lab mix? He is very people friendly, kid friendly and dog friendly. He has been around dogs of all sizes and temperaments and done great with all. He is very playful and would love a companion. He could be an only dog though if you are not a workaholic and still plan to continue to socialize him several times a week, if not daily. He is almost housebroken and almost crate trained but would prefer to be loose so that he can nap on your sofa. His one and only negative is he knows how to jump a fence so either he needs to be leash walked and/or supervised when outside. He will not jump the fence unless you close him outside and he can not be left outside when you are not home. He is also a love bug. He loves to lounge on the sofa and is a snuggle bug. He also seems to be quite wonderful with kids of all ages. He is current on vaccines, neutered, on preventative and microchipped. He is 49 lbs and is 8 months old. He is not expected to get much bigger. You will need to submit an application, have references checked, a home visit done and and we will need to verify your insurance or landlord or home owners association allows you to have a Pit mix.
