Fox Terrier - Small - Senior - Female - Dog - Twiggy
Description
Hi there, my name is Twiggy, given to me by the nice folks at the vet office where I was taken after being found by someone.  I was real skinny so they started calling me Twiggy!  They took good care of me there, gave me my shots, cleaned my teeth, and took some x-rays.  I'm an older lady (per the vet between 6-10 yrs) but that doesn't slow me down.  I am recovering from a small pelvic fracture and I have a right luxated hip (my hip moves in and out of place) but the doctor felt I did not need surgery for this.  After all my vetting needs were taken care of and I had gained a little weight I was adopted.  That didn't work out too well because they let me get lost.  The people at the rescue was called about a little dog in the bushes shaking and off they came to get me.  The nice folks at the vet office said I should stay with the rescue to find my new home so here I am!  The vet thinks I'm Chihuahua and Rat Terrier mix, some with the rescue think I might have some Min Pin and Italian Greyhound, either way I'm sure to stay a smaller size, close to my current 9 pounds.   I get along with other dogs, cats and children.  I'm pretty sure I'm house broken, don't bark a lot, listen well, and like to cuddle.  If you're looking for a settled down, lean, long legged beauty to keep you company I'm your girl!
