River had a rough start in life. His back leg got hit by a car, and instead of seeking medical help, the owners just taped it up! Thankfully a good samaritan reported the incident and the dog was taken away from the family. River has been in foster care for a few months now and received all the necessary vetting to help him fully recover from his injuries. He is happy, energetic and ready to move on to a forever home. River gets along perfectly with other dogs and hopes to find a home he can share with a canine companion. Please make an appointment to meet this sweet and special guy!
