Pug - Small - Adult - Male - Dog - Scruffy

This little guy is called Scruffy, estimated to be a 7 year old, 16 lb. altered malePug/Shih Tzu. He walks like a little Tank. He was found wandering on and around the train tracks in Baltimore City. Who knows how long this poor darling wandered the streets alone? It was a miserable exsitence. He was brought to the shelter looking terribly matted and with severe hair loss and hot spots due to a serious flea allergy (his skin scrape was negative for mange). In addition, he can see, but has minimal sight in his left eye. Scruffy's hair is growing in beautifully and is golden in color with two dark brown round patches on his back and near his tail. He is an absolute doll! He is SOOO grateful to be inside, loved, cared for, fed, receiving medical care and finally living the life he truly deserves. He wags his tail all the time!! He loves to lounge in the bed, or on the couch near you. He is great with other dogs and cats and we can guarantee that he will be your best and most grateful lap dog ever! Please consider adopting him. Every effort you make, you will get back 10 fold as you watch him turn into a very handsome and happy puppy! Scruffy is neutered and current on all vaccines. Adoption fee is $200.00 Please be aware that it is the opinion of this rescue group, in conjunction with dog behaviorists, that a young puppy benefits greatly with proper socialization. We will only place puppies younger than 6 months, in homes where they have the opportunity to be with someone all day, or travel to work, or have special arrangements, such as Puppy DayCare, Dog Walker, etc. Breed Selection is 'Best Efforts' given by shelter staff, veterinarians and rescue volunteers. No guarantees are implied. Remember adoption is a Commitment for the lifetime of your new furry friend, Dogs could live to be 15 years or more!!
