Italian Greyhound - Medium - Young - Female - Dog - Q-tee

Q-Tee is only 10 months old and weighs about 32 lbs. She needs a loving home with lots of activity. This pup LOVES to run, and she runs like the wind. Q-tee was initially shy, but she is so full of love now!! It may take a little while to build her confidence. But once she does, she will be your pal forever. Small children with their sudden movements seem to make her a little nervous, so we hope to choose a home with older children. She can also jump a foour foot fence, so we hope to place her in a home with a nice privacy fence. Q-tee was rescued with her mom, Mona, from St. Croix, Virgin Islands, a place where dogs suffer in horrid situations. They eat trash, no vaccinations, and are overwhelmed with parasites. When Q-tee arrived she had ringworm, but has been treated and is 100% healthy now. Q-tee has been altered, vaccinated, and treated with preventatives. Please give this beautiful Island Dog a chance to see what it is like to be pampered. She will be forever grateful! E-mail us for an application, adoption fee is $175.00. Please be aware that it is the opinion of this rescue group, in conjunction with dog behaviorists, that a young puppy benefits greatly with proper socialization. We will only place puppies younger than 6 months, in homes where they have the opportunity to be with someone all day, or travel to work, or have special arrangements, such as Puppy DayCare, Dog Walker, etc. Breed Selection is 'Best Efforts' given by shelter staff, veterinarians and rescue volunteers.
