This little angel is our Cynthia, she is a VERY lucky kitten. You see, when she was found by one of our officers, one of her eyes was very swollen, infected and obviously injured. Thankfully, we had a clinic that day to have some of the public's cats go to the vet to be spayed/neutered. We sent Cynthia along as well. The vet there determined that the eye needed to be removed immediately to prevent further infection. Cynthia came back to the shelter a changed girl. Not only did she have the eye removed but they went ahead and spayed her too. Cynthia's road to recovery has been a long one. She at first had to get used to walking around with only one eye. Luckily for her, her foster mommy had another one eyed cat that sort of showed her the ropes about being a cat with only one eye. She quickly grew into a gorgeous, sleek kitten with endless energy! Cynthia is only about 12 weeks old now but keeps up with all the adult cats in her foster home who are triple her size. Occasionally she will run into something but this is happening less and less. She is truly a very special girl who deserves a very special forever home. She's come through some hard times in her short lifespan and now needs a loving home.
