Domestic Short Hair - Medium - Adult - Male - Cat - CL: Clive
Description
Clive is an extremely friendly and outgoing cat who was found as a stray. He appears to have epilepsy, and has frequent seizures if he is not kept on medication. Fortunately he is responding well to the medication, but still has an occasional seizure while we try to find the right dosage for him. Clive gets along well with other cats and dogs. He loves to be held and carried around, and doesn't have a shy bone in his body -- he greets visitors to his foster mom's house at the door, along with the dog! He is a difficult cat to medicate, but fortunately takes his pills in his food. He needs an owner who can stick to his twice-a-day medication schedule and is committed to managing his disease. With correct management, Clive should live a long and happy life and provide his owner with many years of wonderful companionship! Clive is about 2 years old, current on vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/feline leukemia, and neutered. He is not part of FRA's adoption program, but is listed here as a courtesy.
