They went into a foster home to be socialized and were adopted soon after. Unfortunately, a child in their new home developed severe asthma, so Waverly and Hampden have been returned and need to find another home.They are presumably siblings and are very attached to each other, so need to find a new home together. (Moving around has been a little traumatic for them, and we don't want to make it worse by splitting them up.) They're a bit on the shy side, especially Hampden, so they will need a patient new owner who can help bring them around. They would do best in a relatively quiet home without children.Waverly is an absolutely beautiful female gray and white longhair. She is shy at first, but VERY friendly and affectionate once she gets to know you. She likes to follow her people around the house and throw herself at their feet, asking for belly rubs! She also likes to sleep curled up on your pillow in bed... she is quite the snuggler! She does need periodic brushing to help keep her beautiful coat from getting matted.Hampden is a male shorthair with very interesting coloring -- he is all white, except for his ears, tail, and one circular spot on his side, which are brown tabby. Very unique! He is much shyer than his sister, but definitely likes people and wants attention -- he will often come up and meow softly while rolling around on the floor wearing his best 'PET ME!' look. :-) But he needs a patient owner who will give him plenty of time to acclimate to a new home, and let him progress at his own pace.These guys are about 10 months old as of the end of March. They are already spayed/neutered, are negative for FIV/feline leukemia, and are current on vaccinations. Both get along very well with other cats and are good friends with their foster mom's Labrador. Indoor-only, no-declaw home required.These two are not part of FRA's adoption program, but are listed here as a courtesy, so please ignore the adoption policies below. A free 30-day health insurance policy comes with each cat, but can only be issued with a valid email address. Adoption fees are as follows: Adult Cats and kittens 6 months and older: $90 ($150 for a pair), Kittens under 6 months $125 ($210 for a pair). We accept cash, checks and credit cards. We do not have a shelter. Our cats are housed either in foster homes or at our Petco adoption center at the Petco in Owings Mills. Adoptions are by appointment or at adoption events.
