Parakeet (Other) - Small - Adult - Female - Bird - Alexa, Philip

Alexa, Philippa, and Damon are a trio of parakeets that would like to be adopted together. Against all odds, these three have become friends and you will often see Alexa and Philippa or Alexa and Damon playing kissy-face with each other. Alexa is a special needs keet. She had been found in a glue trap and in the struggle to get herself out she dislocated her right wing. The wing has healed, but not completely in the joint, so when she over exerts herself it has a tendency to bother her. Philippa is also a special keet in that she should never have her wings trimmed. She is about 3 years old and only just starting to be able to glide without falling like a rock. The vet said this is probably due to never learning how to fly when she was little. Please Click for An Application Mr Damon is just a lovebug - always first to the food bowl, a busybody always on the go and always befriending the new birds. All three of these keets have learned to step up onto a stick for their fostermom, and Alexa is closest to becoming hand tame.
